Ride of Kusalanamalai , Karadiyanar

Kusalanamalai is a small village in Karadiyanaru. Kusalanaimalai is well known for “Kusalanamalai Kumaran Kovil”. Many rural worshipping practices were done in those time by Hunters Tribes and people. ‘Kumaran’ is one of the God they worshipped. By the time passed, the God ‘Kumaran’ was worshipped as God ‘Muruga’. The God Muruga worship in this place has the history of 30 generations. We can see the Vel [Weapon] of God Muruga which is 30 generations old on the peak of the mountain. This place and the temple are filled with the historic and archaeological values.
